Germany: Annual GDP grows 1.2% in Q2

FXStreet (Łódź) - On an annual basis German GDP w.d.a. increased 1.2% in Q2, following a 2.5% rise registered the previous quarter, according to preliminary data released today by Destatis.

On a quarterly basis Q2 GDP s.a. fell 0.2%, following 0.7% growth in Q1 and against consensus of remaining unchanged.

Year-over-year GDP n.s.a. climbed 0.8% in Q2, compared with +2.5% in Q1.
