Breaking: More than 22 million Americans are receiving unemployment benefits

There were 2,981,000 Initial Claims for unemployment benefits in the US during the week ending May 9th, the data published by the US Department of Labor (DOL) revealed on Thursday. The report further showed that the number of Americans receiving unemployment benefits rose to 22.8 million in the week ending May 2nd from 22.6 million.
