AUD/USD falls to 10-day lows ahead of RBA minutes

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The AUD/USD fell slightly below previous lows and reached the weakest price since May 8, after Wall Street closing bell. Price action remains quiet in the currency market but the pair continues to move with a bearish bias ahead of the release of the RBA minutes from the last meeting.

On Monday the AUD/USD posted the lowest daily close in more than a week, ending below 0.9330 and now is eyeing 0.9315 (May 7, 8 lows) and 0.9300.

The pair weakened during the American session breaking a short term range. The Aussie was among the worst performers on Monday and fell across the board.

US markets closed higher on Monday

Wall Street posted gains for second day on Monday on a choppy session as investors are still deciding what way to take after recent mix economic data. Internet shares boosted Nasdaq.
