PBOC sets Yuan midpoint weaker for 10th day in a row

FXStreet (Mumbai) - On Friday, the Chinese central bank, PBOC, sets USD/CNY midpoint at 6.4814 compared to 6.4757 previous close, the highest levels since June 2011.

Meanwhile, China Shanghai Composite index opens down 0.14% at 3574.94.

Yuan internalization - one of the main developments in 2015, PBOC’s Yi

In a latest PBOC report, the central bank’s Vice Governor Yi Gang noted that interest-rate deregulation, internationalization of the yuan and asset liquidity were the three main People's Bank of China developments in 2015.
