Wall Street opens the week with negative note

FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - The US stocks market started the week in a dark mood as investors continued with concerns about the Fed tapering plans. Low volume and lack of big fundamentals news drove Wall Street to its first 4-day negative streak in the year.

The Nasdaq closed at 3-week lows with the DJIA and the S&P falling to monthly minimums.

The Dow Jones declined 70.73 points or 0.47% to close at 15,010.74. The S&P 500 eased 9.78 pts or 0.59% to 1,646.05. And the Nasdaq Composite lost 13.69 pts or 0.38% to 3,589.09.
