USD/CAD drops further below 1.1600
FXStreet (Córdoba) - USD/CAD broke below 1.1585 and slide further to 1.1576, reaching the lowest price since December 19. The pair remains near the lows, holding a bearish tone.
Earlier USD/CAD traded above 1.1600 but failed to hold and turned to the downside, falling 30 pips during the last two hours.
The loonie is rising for the second day in a row against the US dollar on Wednesday, the first time to do so since late November.
A low volume session is expected, but economic data from the US will be release, that includes jobless claims, Chicago business survey, economic sentiment index and pending home sales. No economic data from Canada will be published today.
