NZD/USD consolidates above 0.78 handle
FXStreet (Mumbai) - The New Zealand dollar remains elevated against the US counterpart in the mid-European session, consolidating in a very tight range between 0.7824 – 0.7847 levels.
Currently, the NZD/USD trades at 0.7843, up 0.14% on the day, heading towards intraday high of 0.7847 levels hit during early Asian morning. The Kiwi extended three consecutive days of gains versus the greenback following the upward trajectory of its Australian counterpart amid renewed optimism as markets look forward for a smooth transition into 2015.
NZD/JPY Technical Levels
To the upside, the next resistance is located at 0.7851 (Dec 30 High) and above which it could extend gains to 0.7871 (Dec 11 High) levels. To the downside, immediate support might be located at 0.7793 (5-DMA) levels and below that at 0.7761 (10-DMA) levels.
